This is the single thing that turns bronzer from something that looks like makeup into something that looks like you spent a weekend outdoors. Contour goes in the hollows where shadows fall. Bronzer goes on the high points where light lands: the temples, the tops of the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, a whisper on the chin. Stand by a window and notice where the sun reaches you. That is your map, and it is a far kinder and more modern look than sharp sculpting.
Getting that balance right is the hard part of making a bronzer, and it is why so many of us have one sitting unused in a drawer. Too red and it looks sunburnt, too yellow and it turns muddy. Endless Summer is a true warm mid tone laid down sheer, so the first pass is barely there and you build to exactly where you want to stop. It is a shade designed to flatter you rather than to look impressive in the pan.
★★★★★“The Pressed Bronzer has quickly become my go-to for achieving that perfect sun-kissed glow! The shade is just right for adding warmth to my complexion without looking too orange or muddy. The formula is smooth and easy to blend.”

Most pressed bronzers are talc and pigment, which is exactly why they cling to dry patches and sit in texture. This one is built on organic rice powder and silica with jojoba seed oil and grapeseed oil worked through it, and that is what gives it the melt. It blends into skin rather than dusting on top of it, which matters enormously on mature or dry skin. Vegan, gluten free, seventy five per cent certified organic, and no talc anywhere.
Load a soft fluffy brush, tap the excess off, and begin at the temples where your hair meets your forehead. Starting at the edges means the heaviest deposit lands where it matters least, and everything that follows is already sheer.
Sweep down and around from the temple, over the top of the cheekbone, in a gentle curve. Stay on the bone rather than dropping into the hollow underneath. That is the line between sun-kissed and contoured.
Whatever is left on the brush, take it lightly across the bridge of your nose and the point of your chin. That is what makes it read as sunlight rather than a stripe on each cheek, and it takes two seconds.
Everybody skips this and everybody can see when it has been skipped. Blend whatever remains down the sides of your neck so your face and your neck agree with each other. It is the difference between warmth and a mask.
Because it is laid down so sheer, you control the depth rather than the pan deciding for you. If you are fair, use a nearly empty brush and one light pass and it looks like a week outdoors. If you are deeper, build two or three layers rather than pressing harder. That sheerness is the whole design. And if you would like an honest opinion before you order, send me a photo in daylight and I will tell you exactly how I would apply it on you.
Direction and colour. Contour is a cool shadowy tone placed in the hollows, under the cheekbone and along the jaw, to create depth. Bronzer is warm and goes on the high points where sunlight would naturally hit. One sculpts, one warms. The current look leans firmly toward warmth, which is also far more forgiving to apply.
Lightly, yes, and plenty of my customers do. Being warm rather than cool toned it reads as sunlight rather than shadow when you place it under the cheekbone, which gives a softer and less structured result that many women prefer. For genuine sculpting you want a cooler taupe.
It is formulated specifically to avoid that. Most pressed bronzers are talc based, which is what grabs onto texture. Rice powder with jojoba and grapeseed oils pressed through it blends into skin instead. A light hand and a fluffy brush rather than a dense one will keep it seamless.
Soft and fluffy rather than dense. A dense brush deposits too much in one spot and bronzer is unforgiving about that. There is a suitable one in our Luxe Makeup Brush Set. Whatever you use, tap the excess off before it touches your face.
Do not wash your face. Take a clean fluffy brush with nothing on it and buff over the area in circles to disperse it, or press a little foundation or setting powder over the top to knock it back. Far easier to fix than it feels in the moment.
For most women, yes, very much so. Alongside the rice powder and oils there are small amounts of organic oregano, thyme, olive leaf, rosemary, lavender and goldenseal, there for their natural preservative and antioxidant qualities. If you know you react to botanical extracts, try a little on your inner arm first, as you would with anything new.
Yes, and cruelty free and gluten free, with seventy five per cent certified organic ingredients and no talc.
