Care & materials
Wash every one to two weeks in warm water with a gentle soap or shampoo, always with the bristles pointing downward so water never runs into the ferrule and loosens the glue. Squeeze gently, reshape each head with your fingers, and lay flat over the edge of a bench to dry. Never stand a wet brush upright in a jar.
Synthetic bristles throughout, which suit mineral powder better than natural hair because they do not absorb product before it reaches your face.

You can apply an excellent foundation with the wrong brush and it will look patchy and wear off by lunchtime. Change nothing but the brush and the same product looks like skin. Before you buy another foundation, it is very often the tool that needs replacing.

Most people buy a foundation brush, then discover they need something smaller for concealer, something angled for brows, something soft for blending shadow. How often should I wash them?
Every one to two weeks for anything that touches your face, and more often if your skin is breaking out. A dirty brush causes more congestion than any foundation does.
What is the right way to wash them?

Are they vegan?
Yes. Synthetic bristles throughout, cruelty free, and better suited to mineral powder than natural hair anyway.
Do I really need fourteen brushes?
Honestly, no. Most people use four or five regularly. The reason to buy the set is that it costs less than those five would separately, and the others are there when you want them.
Which one should I use for mineral foundation?
The densest, flattest topped brush in the set. Load it in the lid, tap the excess off, and buff in small circles from the centre of the face outward.
