Care & materials
Wash every one to two weeks in warm water with a gentle soap or shampoo, always with the bristles pointing downward so water never runs into the ferrule and loosens the glue. Squeeze gently, reshape the head with your fingers, and lay flat over the edge of a bench to dry. Never stand a wet brush upright in a jar.

The brush is half of the result
You can apply an excellent mineral foundation with the wrong brush and it will look patchy, sit on the surface and wear off by lunchtime. Change nothing but the brush and the same foundation looks like skin. It is the least glamorous truth in makeup and the one most worth knowing.

Why synthetic beats natural hair here
Natural bristles are hollow and absorb product before it reaches your face, which is why powder can seem to disappear into a cheap brush. Synthetic fibres carry the pigment and release it where you put it. They also wash cleanly and dry faster, which matters if your skin breaks out.

Swirl, tap, then buff in circles
Load the brush in the lid rather than the jar, tap the excess off there, then buff into the skin in small circles starting from the centre of the face. Pressing and buffing gives you coverage. Sweeping just moves powder around and wastes most of it.

How often should I wash it?
Every one to two weeks, and more often if your skin is breaking out. A dirty brush causes more congestion than any foundation does.
What is the right way to wash it?

Is it vegan?
Yes. Synthetic bristles throughout, cruelty free, and better suited to mineral powder than natural hair anyway.
Will it suit liquid foundation as well?
It will, though it is at its best with loose and pressed powder. For liquid, a flat top or a damp sponge gives a slightly smoother finish.
How long will it last?
Years, with the care above. When the head softens and stops holding its shape, that is the sign to replace it.
